INTRODUCING THE FAMILY GUYS 06 May 2010
Settled, family-oriented but increasingly receptive to new ideas.
The Family Guys are the ones that have been with us the longest. These RnB loving Mums, Dads and people who generally have an older mindset are the Kiss fans who listened during our low key pirate beginnings.
This typology loves Kisstory as it takes them back to their days of hedonism in the clubs, but they enjoy having their finger on the pulse of the latest tracks too and it means, if they have kids, they can enjoy the radio with them.
Life is not all about music and socialising as it once was, loved ones come first and at the weekends they like to spend time with their families and close friends, at home or maybe a trip to the football. As long as they can relax after a hard week at work, it doesn’t matter. So when it comes to Saturday night, a take away whilst enjoying ‘X-factor’ is just perfect, and once the Kids are in bed they watch the latest Blockbuster, if they can stay awake.
Family Guys are busy people, working, looking after their children and making time for their partners doesn’t leave them with as much time for themselves as our other typologies. Saving for holidays is important which means spending during the year is budgeted, substance over style is a must.
When it comes to media, Family Guys stay up to date but it doesn’t rule their life, half an hour with the Daily Mail at the end of the day keeps them abreast with what’s happening in the world. Magazines are a rare treat and the only ones they have time for are the freebies from the Sunday papers. Facebook is a once a month glance and you won’t see any pictures of them, it will be their kids or nephews that get pride of place on their profile.
Here are some key attitudes of a Family Guy
- The most important part of a Family Guy is thier family
- Cars and clothes are about functionality and comfort
